    • ]]>     The music of Blue Scholars is one of the best Hip-Hop underground music coming from the Seattle, Washington area. The MC is a Filipino-American born from the Seattle area.

    The duo was created about 7 years ago, the members consist of  Geologic (Geo) and Sabzi. Geologic real name is George Quibuyen and Sabzi Saba Mohajerjasbi. They’ve already released 8 albums since 2002. They recently opened up for Kanye West on his recent world tour. George Quibuyen is also a known poet in the Seattle area. He is the son of a Filipino immigrant who have lived throughout the northwest of the United States since he was a kid.

    • ]]>     This is another yotube video I found, These are young filipinos gathering up in the center of Milan. They are gathering around a table at mcdonald’s. Even in Milan, hip-hop has a strong influence on young filipinos. It’s not clear if they are networking with Italian breakers or creating a scene on their own.
