    • ]]>     The music of Blue Scholars is one of the best Hip-Hop underground music coming from the Seattle, Washington area. The MC is a Filipino-American born from the Seattle area.

    The duo was created about 7 years ago, the members consist of  Geologic (Geo) and Sabzi. Geologic real name is George Quibuyen and Sabzi Saba Mohajerjasbi. They’ve already released 8 albums since 2002. They recently opened up for Kanye West on his recent world tour. George Quibuyen is also a known poet in the Seattle area. He is the son of a Filipino immigrant who have lived throughout the northwest of the United States since he was a kid.

    • ]]>     I don’t really know much about the band parokya ni edgar that much. When I was in the Philippines last year, I was walking around a department music store and a video of the band Parokya ni edgar was playing. The video was the Inuman Session and the song was called Buloy. Buloy is such an awesome song. Buloy was actually a real person and the band Parokya ni edgar made a song out of it. who are Parokya ni edgar? Well the band consist of lead singer Alfonso “Chito” Miranda, Jr, Jeric Estaco, Francis Vincent “Vinci” Montaner, and two guitarists, Miko Yap and Gabriel Ignatius “Gab” Chee Kee. My other favorite songs are gitara, harana and sorry na. What are you favorite Parokya ni edgar song?
