I went to San Diego, Ca last weekend and found out that there are a large community of filipinos there. It was in sunny National City which is a city next to Chula Vista California. I got there around 10 am and instantly saw fellow Filipinos walking around, Filipino Flags in every light post. I thought there was a Filipino fiesta happening, but there was no fiesta going. That was the way the city was, it was mostly made up of Filipinos. There’s a Jolibee restaurant, a seafood city, bunch of Filipino restaurants, and a starbucks with filipino workers. San Diego, California is a military town, so I could understand that there is a large population of Filipinos there. I also passed by the restaurant sizzler and on there billboard was listed, “Filipino Night everday thursday’s”,. Supposedly they serve adobo, sinigang and lecho kawali every thursdays.
