Well, I was supposed to write an article about Journey’s new singer Arnel Pineda a while back, but never got a chance to do it. How did Arnel Pineda ever got to this point of leading one of the most celebrated band ever, Journey?
Arnel Pineda grew up in the Philippines and started singing at an early age. He participated in many singing competition when he was young and started performing with various cover bands at the age of 15. He travelled such place as Singapore, Hong Kong and and Japan in his early days with various cover bands.
After getting discovered by Journey’s lead guitar player on Youtube, weeks later he was signed on to be the new lead singer of Journey. Arnel Pineda have an astonishing vocal voice and nailed on the right notes on the now infamous youtube video featuring him and his old band The zoo covering a Journey song.
