Saturday, Nov 14, 2009, Filipinos from around the world will again gather to watch Philippine Boxer Champion Manny Pacquiao fight againts Puerto Rican WBO champion Miguel Cotto. Who will come out with a victory?
Manny Pacquiao considered by many to be the pound for pound champion of his weight is definitely the favorite for this fight. He is currently training for the fight in Baguio, Phillipines with trainer Freddie Roach and team Pacquiao. Cotto is the underdog but don’t mind it because he thinks he can come out and win this fight. This fight is of course a fight that will set up a big fight with former undisputed pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather next year.
Three weeks before the fight Manny Pacquiao will travel to Los Angeles, Ca to continue his training at Coach Roach’s boxing headquarter gym with team Pacquiao. They will then make their way to MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the WBO match against Miguel Cotto. If Miguel Cotto (34-1, 27 KO’s) wants to beat Manny Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 KO’s) on November 14th, he needs to come out early and aggressive for the much smaller fight, Pacquiao. They key for Manny Pacquiao winning this fight is speed and jab early with constant body hits.
