Did you know that Metallica’s lead guitar player Kirk Hammet is half filipino? His mother is filipino and his dad is Irish, he grew up in Richmond, California. He’s been with Metallica since 1983 and considered the top 100 greatest guitar player ever. This year, his band Metallica was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame.
