Who are some of the upcoming Pinoy Dj’s Northern California? What type of styles are coming out in the Pinoy dj community in Northern California? I grew up in Northern California, the Filipino music scene was not as strong as it is now. Most of my Filipino friends in high school wanted to be dj’s. The good thing is that they had fellow Filipino Dj’s to look up too. And most of them were into Dj Q-bert, he pretty much paved the way for all up and coming filipino dj’s. When I went home over the summer to my parents house, I noticed that most of the popular dj’s that were playing in clubs were the filipino friends I had grown up in Stockton, California.
