Filipinos has such a great diversity of mixed culture put into one. Do you know your Filipino History?
Do you know Ferdianand Magellan? Magellan was the first recorded visitor from the west in 1521. Then the Spaniard Colonization took place in the Philippines, which pretty much mixed the culture of the Native Filipinos and Spaniard culture. Then the Philippine Revolution against Spain began in 1886 and proclaimed Philippine Independence from the country of Spain. After the revolution, Philippines were controlled by the Americans, because of the treaty of paris, which was part of the Spanish-American war negotiation. U.S. colonial rule began in the Philippines in 1905 and ended after WW II.
