Do you know how many Filipino languages? I’m guessing there are probably more than 100 Filipino languages, I looked it up and I was wrong. Threre are over 170 languages in the Philippines spoken today. But we all know that main spoken language is Tagalog. There is also ilocano, which is mainly spoken in the northern part of the Philippines. This is a fact that before the 1900, Spanish was the official language of the Philippines, then when the American came to town, English was taught in school and spanis language gradually declined. As years passed by, the tagalog language was made the official language of the Philippines.
