Has there ever been Professional Filipino baseball players in MLB? I bet you didn’t you that the first filipino baseball player to play professionally in the Major League was Bobby Balcena, but only played for 7 games with the Cincinnati Reds in 1956. There’s Benny Agbayani who played for the New York mets now currently plays for the Colorado Rockies.

This is an interesting trivia, i never thought that there are actually pinoys who played in baseball major league.. most of the people that we know plays basketball, i think its time for us pinoys to conquer other team sports other than basketball.
